This week, Pastor Pete Pederson brings us a message on Mark 8:17-9:1. In this passage, Jesus asks his disciples, "Who do you say I am?" But while the disciples understand who Jesus is, they fail to understand what he came to do. Like the disciples, we also suffer from spiritual blindness. We may recognize Jesus as the Messiah⎯the one who came to save us and forgive us from our sins, but we need his touch again and again to help us to see who he is and who we are in him.
