This week we are looking at Mark 2:23-3:6 and considering the Sabbath. In this text, Mark tells us two stories about Jesus on the Sabbath, and therein we learn that Jesus says he is “Lord of the Sabbath.” Somehow Jesus says he is the one who not only regulates the Sabbath but fulfills the Sabbath. The Sabbath is made complete in Him. Join us this week as we consider the Sabbath, its ramifications for our lives, and its fulfillment in Christ.
