This week we look at Mark 1:1-8 as the introduction to the book of Mark. While there is a lot to learn about Jesus in Mark 1:1 alone about how Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament promises of a Messiah, it is also significant that it takes place in the wilderness, a place of need. For all who wish to know and understand Jesus, it begins with understanding our needs and how Jesus wishes to meet us therein. Join us this week as we begin our study of Mark and begin to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say I am?”
