We use things like pleasure, professional accomplishment, and accumulation of wealth as balms for our inability to find meaning in deep and abiding ways. Yet there is a whole book of the Bible dedicated to seeking meaning in a meaningless world. This week we open our series on the book of Ecclesiastes and begin to look at how the wisdom of God still speaks to our search for meaning today.
