Ecclesiastes: Meaning in a Meaningless World

Everyone searches for meaning on a daily basis. We use things like pleasure, professional accomplishment, and accumulating wealth as balms for our inability to find meaning in deep and abiding ways. Yet there is a whole book of the Bible dedicated to seeking meaning in a meaningless world. This winter we will be looking at the book of Ecclesiastes and considering what the author has to say about the pursuit of wisdom to a people in need.
