Summer on the Mount

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus outlines many of the virtues of The Kingdom of Heaven. For many, this is simply a summary of Jesus’ ‘good moral teachings.’ However, as we examine the teachings of Jesus, we find that no mortal person could ever achieve what He is asking his followers to do, no one except Jesus Himself. In Jesus, we see the virtues and values of the Kingdom of Heaven on display, even unto his persecution and death. Join us this summer as we hear Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, all that we ought to have been, and all that He was in our place.
