This week we look at Matthew 5:1-12, the Beatitudes of Jesus. In these verses, Jesus shows us how the values of the Kingdom of Heaven are often wildly different than the values of our own personal, local, or national kingdoms. Yet, through His teachings, we will be blessed to understand our poverty and long for the coming of the true kingdom and true King.
