In chapter 3 James reminds us that we need to take stock, not just of our actions but also of our words, for by our words we witness the overflow of our hearts. Even as we struggle with this aspect of our humanity, we trust in Christ as the one who both tamed the tongue and offered us His Spirit through whom we know the true WORD.
