On Christmas Eve, we celebrate the final night of Advent and anticipate the first coming of Christ. However, as we look at the birth and then life and death of Jesus, we come to realize that it signifies much more. The first coming of Christ always anticipated his second coming. The birth of Christ was an act of love and service to those he would come back to receive unto himself. This Christmas Eve, we look at Revelation 21 and the fulfillment of God’s plan for humanity — God with us, not just for a time but for eternity.
