Ephesians 1:15-22 is a prayer that followers of Jesus will know Him and how the whole of reality is united in Him. As Paul outlines in this prayer, Jesus’ death brought unity to Heaven and Earth by reconciling humanity to God in the Heavenly realms. As His name was elevated higher than any other name in creation, so too we are elevated with Him to a place of dignity and victory by His grace.
