This week in our study of the Lord’s Prayer we are looking at the phrase “Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.” In this phrase we hear the echo of the betrayal of God’s will by Adam and Eve in Eden but also Christ’s fulfillment of God’s will beginning in the Garden of Gethsemane. This week we look at how Jesus became a new Adam, and did what the first Adam failed to do, faithfully trust the will of God.
