Pastor Jordan Spina The problem that we have traced thus far in advent is what St. Augustine calls, disordered loves, that is letting good things be treated as the greatest things. What we find in the book of Isaiah is that all of God’s people, including the prophet himself, are guilty deep down of having disordered loves and having hearts “curved in on themselves.” Today we look at the state of all God’s people and our need for a Messiah who truly understands Love.
